Escape the hustle of LaLa Land and find solace in nature's embrace as you immerse yourself in the beauty of Topanga Canyon. At the end of a road, perched atop a remote valley of the Santa Monica mountains, sits Topanga Commune: 10 acres of meandering paths, oak trees, palms and gardens abutting state land. You won’t believe you are less than an hour from the heart of LA. The property has a main house, a guest house, four tea house private rooms, four sweet A-Frame glamping cabins, and plenty of space for camping.
Enjoy twice daily yoga with the dream team - Ivorie & Emily, sleep on organic mattresses and linens and enjoy the bounty of LA’s best local farmers for every home-cooked meal. Spend star studded evenings in the hot tub, warm afternoons in the pool and if you are brave, guided cold plunges. The property also has a plethora of hammocks a lots of nooks and crannies for you to tuck yourself into!
Arrival is Friday afternoon and departure is Monday morning after a yoga practice and breakfast. The space and the weekend will have a communal feel with long dining tables and shared bathroom amenities. Think of it as a wellness "away" camp for adults.
Songwriter Neil Young lived on this property for many years and was deeply inspired by this magical spot. If there is anywhere in the world to find “a heart of gold,” it may be here. Whether you seek to unplug, deepen your practice, recharge your spirit, or simply immerse yourself in nature's splendor, our fall yoga retreat will be a sanctuary for all.

La Casa
The Main House.
Accommodates one King suite with private bath and several shared rooms with single beds and shared baths.
La Casita
Two bedroom private guest house with 2 single beds in each bedroom and shared bathroom.
Ladies Lounge
A bunk room in the main house accommodating six people with a unique loft, private bath,
walk-in closet and library sitting room.
Tea House Singles
Private, single, Murphy bed lodgings with shared bath.
A-Frame Cabins
Four unique glamping cabins, Sun, Moon, Love & Peace.
Comfortably sleeps 2 in single beds. Glamping guests have full access to shared outdoor showers located in LaLaLand as well as the bathhouse accessible to the Tea House Singles.
The Lost Cabin
Our most secluded property. Private, Comfortably sleeps 2 in a Queen bed with an outdoor bathhouse with private shower, composting toilet and sink. Perfect for couples.
